25 mars 2009. Le café BABAI (Sofiyska rue, 4): EQUITES a présenté le nouveau bande-annonce de Columbus Quest et a communiqué impressions du voyage à travers l'océan.

17 mars 2009. La conférence de presse au Ministère de la culture et du tourisme de l'Ukraine.

12 mars 2009. Goltis et Constantin Mohilnik ont pris part à la conference cosmonautique avec les rapports "L'élimination des conséquences de l'hypodynamie et les moyens de la prévenir ", " Alimentation pendant un vol spatial de longue durée ".

20 janvier 2009. L'équipe EQUITES a rentré à Kiev. Leurs familles, amis et les média sont allés les chercher à l'aéroport:

Le "Garuda" a démarré de Palos de la Frontera le 28 novembre 2008. Il a fallu presque une semaine pour atteindre les Îles Canaries. C'était le dernier relâche avant le voyage à travers l'Océan Atlantique.

Constantin Mohilnik, the EQUITES Team participant:

"We sailed off from the port of Mazagόn, Andalusia at 18:20 (GMT-0) on November 28, 2008. The Ocean met us with a storm which kept up three days. During the first two days the capacity of wind came to 8-9 balls and even 10 balls, this was proved by protector of wind-powered generator which activates at 10 balls. For many of us it was impossible to sleep. On the second day we felt DOMS of the psoas. Our muscles were permanently fighting with the rocking so that the body could never relax. The rocking concurred with the beginning of the dry fasting, with its hardest days. It was impossible to put up the sails and during two days the speed on diesel to the wind was varying from 1,5 to 3 knots that was four times lower than it was planned. After two days we were still in the gulf of Cádiz. On the fourth day the storm slacked but the rocking kept up to the Canary archipelago. However, both doctor and director of photography regained capacity to work".

4 décembre : le bateau a atteint Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Là Colomb a fait un arrêt avant son premier voyage vers l'Amérique pas encore connue. Dans Las Palmas on a fait un prélèvement de sang des participants. Ensuite Andriy et Constantin ont commencé à boire de l'eau tandis que Goltis a décidé de continuer à jeûner sans eau.

La nuit de 7 décembre, l'équipage a pris la mer à nouveau. l'Océan les attendait.

Au début du janvier 2009, à la Veille de Noël (le 6 janvier, le calendrier grégorien), les EQUITES ont abordé en terre ferme pour nour raconter le fonds et le tréfonds du voyage.



Le voyage est dédié au Carême de Noël.

Notre sympa médecin du bord de Canada tient un journal pour nous donner la chance d'être plus proche de la vie des voyageurs.
